DEACON AN VU's COMMUNITY

Let us together ask God's Sanctification Grace in the Deacon An Vu's Community. in Deacon AN VU's Community. In 100 years we build at least 100 Churches for our Lord, we hope to get the Great Reward: The Grace of Sanctification!

Saint Ann Seton, born in 1774. Converted to the Catholic faith in 1805 (31 years old). She Founded the Sisters of Charity in 1809 (34 years old). She Died in 1821 (46 years old). 12 years of building the Religious Order she faced many difficulties. After Saint Seton passed away, the Sisters of Charity continued to build many Catholic schools and later established a university.

Mother Ann Seton founded the first Catholic School in USA. After her passing, the congregation she established continued to develop and build many Catholic schools in several states in the U.S., including a university.

150 years after her death, in 1974, she was canonized.

The story of Deacon Vu Thanh An has some coincidences with the story of Saint Ann Seton: Deacon Vu Thanh An was born in 1943. In 1981 - at the age of 38 - he returned to the Catholic faith while in re-education camp during the period of imprisonment in North Vietnam. He was ordained a Deacon on November 23, 2002 (at the age of 59). In 2005, he founded the Family of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus. In 2021, the Religious Congregation of the Little Sisters of Saint Thérèse was recognized in the Diocese of Moshi, Tanzania.

2024 The Little Sisters of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus were recognized in the Diocese of Vannes, France. The Family of Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, a Interntional Association, founded by Deacon Vu Thanh An is active in many countries: the United States, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Tanzania, Congo, El Salvador, Colombia, Mexico, and France. Deacon Vu Thanh An also established Saint Therese College, offering online courses in 2023. https://vuthanhan.network

Deacon An Vu has also built a church in Muunga, Moshi, Tanzania in 2024. Deacon An Vu is preparing to build a second church in Mkombozi, Moshi, in 2025. The Deacon An Vu's Community aims to follow the example of Saint Ann Seton with the wish to build one church every year. If there are 60 members in the community, each contributing 1000 a year ($80/month). It is certain that a Church can be built each year (approximately $60,000.00 USD). Donating money to build a church is a way to repay God. God has given us life and many other blessings throughout our lives. Let us sincerely express our gratitude. The more we give, the more God will give us in return. All contributions are stored in our Treasure House in Heaven, which will grow more and more and will never be lost. God said to a rich man: “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me” (Matthew 19:21). If after 100 years, we are able to build 100 Churches, We could ask The Lord to bestow the Grace of Sanctification for the Deacon An Vu's Community, then all members of the Deacon An Vu's Community, following the example of Saint Ann Seton, could hope to be included on the list for The Case of Canonization in 2125!

Let us strive for sainthood in the Deacon AN Vu's Community, inspired by Saint Ann Seton, to build many Churches for the Lord.
